The Food of Sicily by Fabrizia Lanza (.ePUB)
📮 The Food of Sicily by Fabrizia Lanza (.ePUB) In this all-new cookbook from Fabrizia Lanza, one of the world’s greatest food cultures is distilled in 75 recipes for the home cook, plus a loving tribute to its ingredients, passions, influences, and history Tucked away on an estate in the countryside south of Palermo is the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School, a unique center dedicated to preserving and sharing the great food culture of Sicily. The spirit of the school, now run by Fabrizia Lanza, the founder’s daughter and scion of a renowned family of winemakers that goes back generations, is what makes Lanza’s The Food of Sicily such a singular cookbook—not just a collection of recipes and techniques, but a vibrant and beautifully photographed profile of the land, the people, the history, and so much more. On every page, in every recipe and note, the author captures the distinct taste of Sicily. How the simplest antipasti, brightly seasoned with nothing but lemon or vinegar, open the appetite—like a classic Octopus Salad or dish of Sautéed Black Olives. The little fried somethings—like an arancine or panelle—are easy, welcome, and nourishing. The Fresh Cavatelli, Pasta with Eggplant and Tomatoes, Bucatini with Sardines and Wild Fennel, and the eye-opening Anelletti Timballo explain why Sicilians are the biggest pasta eaters in the world. Festive meat dishes—such as Lamb-Stuffed Pastry, an Easter staple, or Grilled Sausage with Bay Leaves and Onions—are festive because the moment it’s holiday time, Sicilians everywhere head outside and fire up their grills. And for a people known for their passion for sweets, some famous Sicilian treats—Watermelon Pudding, Lemon Granita, Rolled Fig Cookies, and the pinnacle of desserts, the elaborate Sicilian Cake with Ricotta Cream and Marzipan. Along the way, the author delves into everything from cheese, couscous, and olives to Amaro and the importance of bitterness. Visitors to Sicily often sense it to be a place unlike anywhere else—lost in time and a little bit secretive. The Food of Sicily opens a bright window on it, celebrating this wonderful food culture while honoring everything that makes it special. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Fabrizia Lanza Size 133.2MB Category Non-Fiction > Food & Drink File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/an1EeZUcKyEv https://devuploads.com/jhomcq1zx4eg

Lecture Notes in Analog Electronics: Testing by Vančo B. Litovski(PDF)
📮 Lecture Notes in Analog Electronics: Testing by Vančo B. Litovski(PDF) The process of designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of electronic circuits and systems inevitably includes their testing. It is not possible to deliver a quality and reliable industrial product to the market if it is not thoroughly tested. Hence, the ability to test one’s own product is in fact a requirement to market that product. Of course, as is well known, testing does not give the manufacturer new values but only the knowledge that the products he delivers to the market are good as expected. In some situations both the manufacturer and the maintenance support are facing the need to diagnose the failure which means to find the nature and the location of the fault causing malfunction of a circuit or system. That will be also solved based on testing. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Vančo B. Contact Front by Barry Shaw (.ePUB)
📮 Contact Front by Barry Shaw (.ePUB) In the fall of 2004, an all-out siege was waged on a heavily fortified city, producing the most intense urban combat since the Battle of Hue City in Vietnam. The tempo and intensity of the fighting provided the ultimate proving ground for leadership theory and practical application. A lifetime of leadership lessons was learned and tested in the most demanding environment possible. Contact Front gives the reader an inside look at the harsh realities of sustained combat operations and teaches leadership concepts learned and relied upon during the Iraq War's deadliest battle, the Second Battle of Fallujah. The book is written from the perspective of a young marine sergeant thrust into an unexpected leadership role on the eve of Iraq's bloodiest battle because of a suicide car bomb attack. Each chapter is based on personal experiences in and around Fallujah in November 2004 and uses real-life combat experience to bring relevance and credibility to each highlighted leadership concept. The Dambusters - 'Was it Worth it? by John Sweetman (.ePUB)
📮 The Dambusters - 'Was it Worth it? by John Sweetman (.ePUB) On 16 May 1943, 617 Squadron's first mission saw 19 Avro Lancasters deploy bouncing bombs to breach the Möhne and Eder dams, inflicting significant damage on Nazi Germany’s industrial Ruhr region. On the evening of 16 May 1943, nineteen Avro Lancasters took off from RAF Scampton to undertake 617 Squadron’s first offensive attack since its formation a few weeks earlier. Loaded with Barnes Wallis’ newly designed bouncing bombs, the Bomber Command crews set course for their targets – the vital Möhne, Eder and Sorpe dams that served the Ruhr, the Third Reich’s industrial heartland. By the time the survivors began landing back at base at 03.11 hours the following morning, eight of the Lancasters had been shot down. However, both the Möhne and Eder dams had been breached, while the Sorpe was damaged. The flood waters that the attacks unleashed poured downstream, wreaking havoc on the surrounding countryside. Albert Speer, Hitler’s Minister of Armaments and War Production, later wrote: “That night, employing just a few bombers, the British came close to a success which would have been greater than anything they had achieved hitherto with a commitment of thousands of bombers.” ♻️ Book's Info: Author John Sweetman Size 12MB Category Non-Fiction > History File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/tKjoOxyb7n3K https://devuploads.com/6um5ip8d026g

Hitler's Black Chariots by Logan Kaine (.ePUB)
📮 Hitler's Black Chariots by Logan Kaine (.ePUB) The most feared tank of the Second World War is not a matter that is in dispute - it is the German Tiger. But there is a better question to ask - was it the most effective tank of the war? Or was it so wrapped in mythology that its true value has become obscured? This question propels this investigation into the most storied tank of the war, tracing the evolution and employment of the Tiger Tank and its successor, as well as the variants built on the same chassis - the Ferdinand, Sturmtiger, and Jagdtiger - from the sands of North Africa to the Russian steppes, and finally to the bocage of Normandy and the desperate battles within the German homeland. While the Tiger was feared by many of its opponents, it was also over-engineered and reliant on expensive materials and intensive labour to produce and maintain them, Because of this, between August 1942 and August 1944 only 1,347 were built. Through the course of his research, Kaine uncovers aspects that were either unknown or have been forgotten. In the end, we are left with a much better picture of what this fabled weapon meant to Germany’s war effort. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Logan Kaine Size 1.1MB Category Non-Fiction > History File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/cd56Y10rErYH https://devuploads.com/kmagn78aq5of

Stories from the Stalags by Martin W Bowman (.ePUB)
📮 Stories from the Stalags by Martin W Bowman (.ePUB) From 1942 until the end of the war in Europe, the aircraft of the RAF’s Bomber Command and the United States 8th and 15th Air Forces provided twenty-four-hour ‘round-the-clock’ bombing of the Third Reich. Aircraft and crew casualties were heavy as bomber after bomber succumbed to flak and fighter defenses. For those not killed outright by the Luftwaffe’s onslaught, only baling out over hostile enemy territory could offer any hope of survival. But this generally meant solitary confinement, interrogation, indignities and even extreme hardship for the men who became known as ‘Kriegies’, a word derived from the German Kriegsgefangenen meaning ‘prisoners of war’. Many months of incarceration, sometimes in appalling conditions, would become commonplace for those held in camps throughout Germany, Poland and the Greater Reich. Here, at first hand, are stories of some of those Allied bomber crewmen faced with sudden leaps into that dangerous unknown. For most, and particularly the injured, capture was immediate – imprisonment inevitable. For some evasion was possible, but rarely for long. For others taken prisoner, staying alive was uppermost in the minds of most and in many cases only the comradeship of fellow prisoners and, for some, thoughts of escape became a constant preoccupation. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Martin W Bowman Size 5MB Category Non-Fiction > History File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/DgMrRImcCqKZ https://devuploads.com/mpylqd64adi0

Churchill's Eagles by Richard Mead (.ePUB)
📮 Churchill's Eagles by Richard Mead (.ePUB) An in-depth overview of the role of the Royal Air Force's leaders during World War II. The RAF did not come of age until the Second World War. The role of its forerunners in the Great War, the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service, although important, was peripheral to that of the ground forces. The founding father of the RAF, Lord Trenchard, was determined that it should become a fully-fledged third service, equal in status to the Royal Navy and British Army, and this he succeeded in doing between the wars, firstly by setting up the RAF College at Cranwell, and Staff College at Andover, and secondly by providing a cost-effective policeman of the more rebellious parts of the British Empire. By 1939 the RAF had grown substantially, but, of the three best aircraft of the coming War, only the Supermarine Spitfire was in service, as neither the Avro Lancaster nor the De Havilland Mosquito would be available until early 1942. Aircraft, however, were not enough. It was the leaders of the RAF, the subjects of this book, who would take the battle to the enemy and who, after six long years, would prevail. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Richard Mead Size 5MB Category Non-Fiction > History File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/cnuaHOQ9hewe https://devuploads.com/z6hspl9xwci5

Germany’s French Allies 1941-45 by Massimiliano Afiero (.ePUB)
📮 Germany’s French Allies 1941-45 by Massimiliano Afiero (.ePUB) A fully illustrated study of the Wehrmacht's French volunteer units and their actions on the Eastern Front and in North Africa during World War II. It is little known that, in late 1941, French volunteer units were among Wehrmacht troops defending Germany in the first bitter winter on the Eastern Front, and also among the last fighting for Berlin in April 1945. After Germany invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941, some 13,000 Frenchmen enlisted in the 'Légion des volontaires français contre le bolchévisme' (LVF), which was reformed as the Wehrmacht's Infanterie-Regiment 638 and posted to Russia. This volume examines the involvement of French volunteers, not only on the Eastern Front, but also in the 'Phalange Africaine' in Tunisia and in the 'Légion Tricolore', a short-lived military organization under the control of the French Vichy government. Using archive photographs and specially commissioned artwork, it casts a new light on forces fighting for the Axis and studies the French personnel's equipment, insignia and uniforms while describing their involvement in some of the most gruelling battles of World War II. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Massimiliano Afiero Size 10MB Category Non-Fiction > History File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/WVKbDlbTSURp https://devuploads.com/fr58tp6svoek

The Art of War and Peace by David Kilcullen (.ePUB)
📮 The Art of War and Peace by David Kilcullen (.ePUB) How have the character and technology of war changed in recent times? Why does battlefield victory often fail to result in a sustainable peace? What is the best way to prevent, fight and resolve future conflict? The world is becoming a more dangerous place. Since the fall of Kabul and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the US-led liberal international order is giving way to a more chaotic, contested and multipolar world system. Western credibility and deterrence are diminishing in the face of wars in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, tensions across the Taiwan Strait, and rising populism and terrorism around the world. Can peace, mutual respect and democracy survive, or are we destined to a new permanent chaos in which authoritarians and populists thrive? Based on their decades of experience as policy advisors in conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Colombia and across Africa, and on recent fieldwork in Israel, Ukraine, Ethiopia, and Taiwan, the authors analyse the nature of modern war, considering both large-scale, high-intensity state-on-state conflicts as well as limited-objective, irregular, low-intensity conflicts that often include both inter- and intra-state dimensions. ♻️ Book's Info: Author David Kilcullen Size 2MB Category Non-Fiction > History File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/9DGvRXKNkemS https://devuploads.com/7esr08zkc0he
