  1. 📮 Warbirds of World War II by Jeffrey L. Ethell (.PDF) Warbirds of World War II will be a welcome addition to the bookshelves of the history buff or anyone interested in vintage military aircraft. This book features the most powerful forces in air combat in WWII and the Korean War: the P-38 Lightning, the P-40 Warhawk and the P-51 Mustang, together in one volume. This volume's fascinating and well-researched text explores the mission, specifications, and post-war legacies of these amazing aircrafts and contains over 200 photographs of rare contemporary color photography from the era. This book is a show and tell history of air combat. The P-38 Lightning was one of the greatest American fighters of the war. This twin-engine fighter was flown by three of the war's top-scoring U.S. aces: Major Thomas McGuire, Major Tommy Lynch, and Major Richard I. Bong. The P-40 Warhawk was the U.S. Army Air Force's most important fighter in the Pacific War. It achieved fame when Claire Chennault's American Volunteer Group (AVG), the Flying Tigers, successfully fought back the Japanese over China and Burma from December 1941 to July 1942 with their shark mouth tigers. This book contains color photos of nose art and markings. The P-51 Mustang, was probably the most famous plane featured here. An army demand for a long-range escort fighter led to a redesign of that airframe to accommodate additional fuel. The Mustang became the preferred fighter in Europe after mid-1944 but entered service in the Pacific in large numbers only in the war's final months. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Jeffrey L. 2. 📮 The Curtiss Mohawk by Phil H. Listemann (.PDF) The Curtiss Hawk 75 was the export version of the USAAC Curtiss P-36 that became, from 1936 onwards, the standard American single-seat fighter and represented a big step forward for the USAAC. The French were the first to express interest in this fighter and ordered large quantities before and during the first months of WW2. When the French ask for an armistice, all of the contracts were taken over by the British and the balance of the Curtiss H-75 still to be delivered were shipped out to the UK where they became the Mohawk. The RAF also took charge of more Mohawks coming from various sources and in all over 200 Mohawks were included in the RAF inventory. Some were handed over to the SAAF where they served in East Africa, while most would be sent to the Far East where they served until the end of 1943. The full story of the Mohawk in the RAF and in the SAAF is here told in 50 pages illustrated with 55 photos and 7 colour profiles. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Phil H. 7. 📮 At the Vanishing Point in History by Marina F. Bykova (.PDF) Putin's war has prompted a deep analysis and reevaluation of the forces driving this deadly confrontation. At the Vanishing Point in History brings together renowned humanities scholars and prominent novelists to explore the roots and causes of the ongoing catastrophe in Eastern Europe. This distinguished group of Russian émigrés, well-versed in Russian culture, history, and philosophy, aims to examine the past to understand the present. Experts in the inner workings of Russian society who have fled the country, they believe it is their responsibility to critically assess the current crisis, reflect on its origins, and outline the agenda for future research in the humanities. In response to this challenge, they present a collection of analytical essays that offer essential background and context for understanding the unfolding events in Europe. Today's Russia is perhaps the most representative example of the grave threat that tyranny poses to global civilization. In its brutal attack on Ukraine, Putin's regime holds not only Russians but all of humanity hostage. The atrocities committed in the name of the “Russian world” make it urgent to thoroughly investigate Russia's current political pursuit in order to uncover its true origins and find a way forward. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Marina F. 9. 📮 Now We Are in Power by Angus McNelly (.ePUB) During the first decade of the century, Evo Morales and other leftists took control of governments across Latin America. In the case of Bolivia, Morales was that country’s first Indigenous president and was elected following five years of popular insurrection after decades of neoliberal governance. Now We Are in Power makes the argument that the so-called Pink Tide should be understood as a passive revolution, a process that has two phases: a period of subaltern struggle from average citizens strong enough to culminate in a political crisis, which is followed by a time of reconciliation and transformation. Angus McNelly examines this movement as it unfolded and evaluates how passive revolution plays out over a prolonged crisis, ultimately demonstrating the inherent contradictions and complications of the process. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Angus Mcnelly Size 2MB Category Non-Fiction > Educational File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/CfKnCQyldZHz https://devuploads.com/exhkr7dm8unh
  10. 📮 Talking About a Revolution by Yassmin Abdel-Magied (.ePUB) Yassmin Abdel-Magied started out a dynamic, optimistic, naïve, youthful grass-roots organiser and oil rig worker before she found herself taking on the heft of the Australian political and media establishment, unintentionally. She provides a hearty defence of hobbies and expands on the value and process of carving out a private life and self in an incredibly public-facing world. 15. 📮 Proust, a Jewish Way by Antoine Compagnon (.ePUB) Marcel Proust once wrote, “There is no longer anybody, not even myself, since I cannot leave my bed, who will go along the Rue du Repos to visit the little Jewish cemetery where my grandfather, following a custom that he never understood, went for so many years to lay a stone on his parents’ grave.” Investigating the origin and significance of this statement, Antoine Compagnon offers new insight into the great author’s underappreciated Jewish side. Compagnon traces Proust’s ties to the French Jewish community, examining his relations with his mother’s successful and assimilated family, the Weils. He explores how French Jews read and responded to Proust’s masterpiece In Search of Lost Time in the 1920s and 1930s. Challenging contemporary critics who perceive self-hatred or even antisemitism in Proust’s work, Compagnon shows that many Jewish intellectuals and young Zionists admired and vigorously debated the novel, some seeing it as a source for pride in their Jewish identity. He also considers Proust’s portrayal of homosexuality and how it relates to notions of Jewishness. A work of remarkable erudition and deep research, Proust, a Jewish Way brings to light the vanished world of Proust’s first Jewish readers and shows how it can illuminate our reading of the great novelist today. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Antoine Compagnon Size 46MB Category Non-Fiction > Educational File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/Kp5ZEL90CRqW https://devuploads.com/b83hi4h2dsw2

Nedd Brockmann isn’t afraid to dream big. Fresh after running fifty marathons in fifty days, the twenty-three-year-old had an idea: a 4000-kilometre run across Australia, averaging 100 kilometres per day with the aim of completing it in the fastest known time of 43 days. He wasn’t chasing fame or public recognition. He just wanted to test his limits and raise a million dollars for homelessness in the process. Most said he was crazy, others claimed it couldn’t be done. But those who know Nedd knew never to doubt him. They understood that this is someone who will do whatever it takes to finish what he started, and that when he commits his mind to something, he always gets it done. Understanding the mindset of someone predisposed to such feats of voluntary suffering has been nearly impossible–until now. With his trademark humour and unfiltered style, Nedd recalls the lessons learned on sporting fields that cultivated discipline, the setbacks that tested his resolve, and the relationships that proved most important of all: those who instilled the importance of hard work, of never giving up, and to always give back generously. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Nedd Brockmann Size 52MB Category Non-Fiction > Biographies & Memoirs File Type ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/jVxeWcapOrFL https://devuploads.com/u92zw6w6zg33

  20. 📮 Love's Braided Dance: Hope in a Time of Crisis by Norman Wirzba(.ePUB) A moving exploration of the place of hope in the world today, drawing on agrarian principles In this series of meditations, Norman Wirzba recasts hope not as something people have, like a vaccine to prevent pain and trouble, but as something people do. Hope evaporates in conditions of abandonment and abuse. It grows in contexts of nurture and belonging. Hope ignites when people join in what Wendell Berry calls “love’s braided dance”—a commitment to care for one another and our world. Through personal narratives and historical examples, Wirzba explores what sustains hope and why it so often seems absent from our vision of the future. The vitality of hope, he maintains, depends on a collective commitment to care for the physical world (its soils and waters, plants and animals, homes and neighborhoods) and to promote the moral, aesthetic, and spiritual ideals that affirm life as good, beautiful, and sacred. Engaging with such contemporary topics as climate change, AI and social media, and the intensifying refugee crises and drawing on the wisdom of James Baldwin, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Martha Graham, and others, Wirzba offers a powerful argument for hope as a way of life in which people are intimately and practically joined with all the living. ♻️ Book's Info: Author Norman Wirzba(.Epub) Size 2MB Category Non-Fiction > Faith, Beliefs & Philosophy File Type Love's Braided Dance: Hope in a Time of Crisis by Norman Wirzba(.ePUB 📥 Download Links: https://uploda.sh/a3whCiLmURxZ https://devuploads.com/mjkrgac9syel
