3. Aetheric InFusion

3. Aetheric InFusion - Knowledge of Larek’s gifts have spread farther than just Copperleaf Academy… Exposed as a “Fusion prodigy” to the Mages of Copperleaf Academy and the Martials of Fort Pinevalley, Larek struggles with the attention and expectations this label brings. Not only does he need protection against those who may wish him harm, but he also has to contend with the needs of his Professors and the Dean of Copperleaf Academy, who wish to use his abilities to help teach others about his discoveries and to outfit the local Scission Interception Corps with his powerful creations. It's not because of selfish reasons that they desire the SIC to be better equipped, though, but one of necessity. Changes in Scission and monster behavior throughout the Kingdom has thrown all of their previous defensive strategies into turmoil, and more and more member of the SIC have to venture out from behind the safety of the city’s walls to hunt down and kill the threatening monsters roaming across the landscape. If that wasn’t bad enough, word of Larek’s abilities – and potential origin – have begun to spread, leading to rumors that, if they were to reach the wrong ears, could result in devastation. The powerful Fusionist must now juggle the expectations of his Professors with keeping his presence at the Academy a secret, or else his entire world might come crashing down.

4. Global DifFusion

4. Global DifFusion - Transported to another portion of the world, Larek must find a way to get home…. After the disastrous events in the Kingdom of Androthe, the powerful Fusionist has arrived in another part of the world. Not only is he alone and unsure of where exactly he is, but now he has to navigate the strange Sealance Empire, paying off his debt toward its people that he incurred just after arriving. However, if he can journey across its expanse, he can finally return to the Kingdom where his family and friends he left behind are located. But getting back home is easier said than done. Not only is it an incredibly long distance away, requiring months of travel, but the appearance of Apertures that occurred in the Kingdom just before his departure has apparently spread throughout the entire world, no longer being contained to his homeland. As the people of the Sealance Empire struggle to combat this new threat, Larek will face his own difficult challenges in his efforts to journey home. Will his ability to create powerful Fusions be enough to see him through? Or will the fact that he has been gone a lot longer from the Kingdom than he expected be his downfall?

5. Martial TransFusion

5. Martial TransFusion - The Kingdom has changed more in his absence than he thought possible… After traveling across the entirety of the Sealance Empire and the deserts of Lowenthal, Larek has returned home to the Kingdom of Androthe to find that the situation is quite different from what he remembered. Not only are there massive Apertures called Calamities consuming large portions of the landscape, but most of his friends are also scattered to locations unknown around the Kingdom. Worse yet, they have no idea who he is because of the Dominion magic used on them before he was transported to the Empire. Despite those setbacks, Larek is determined to reunite with both his friends and his family. Problems arise almost immediately upon entering the Kingdom, however, as he is presented with a delay of his reunion with them all. As a result, he is forced to adapt to the sheer devastation he finds himself surrounded with. Through it all, there is one truth that is becoming more and more evident as time goes on. As powerful of a Fusionist he may be, Larek also struggles with fighting and anything more than basic combat tactics, as his skills in that department are sorely lacking. It’s time to learn how to fight instead of just flailing around, swinging his axe and hoping that his higher stats will carry the day. In other words, the Fusionist needs to undergo a much-needed Martial TransFusion.

6. Corrupted SufFusion

6. Corrupted SufFusion - The elimination of a Calamity isn’t as beneficial as one might think… After the frightening experience involved in closing the northwestern Calamity and rescuing his friend, Larek and his companions discover that not everyone is happy about what they accomplished. Forces behind the scenes have made life difficult for the “conquering heroes”, so much so that they are forced to quickly flee the area while they continue their search for Norde. Unfortunately, once they arrive near the southeastern Calamity where Nedira’s younger brother is supposed to be, they encounter a situation that could lead to the downfall of the region, the Kingdom, and perhaps even the entire world. Larek’s unique skills are able to solve some the more immediate problems, though this is only a temporary fix. A more widespread solution is needed to save as many people as possible; a solution which the Factions and the SIC have failed to provide, but Larek believes might be achievable with the help of his Fusions. At the same time, the powerful Fusionist also discovers something about Corrupted Aetheric Force that could be the key to success. In other words, the gradual suffusion of Corruption throughout the world might not be the disaster he once thought, but instead a boon upon which could lead to the survival of everyone….

7. Corps InterFusion

7. Corps InterFusion - The Scission Interception Corps is finally going to get what’s coming to them…. After a harrowing battle where he nearly died, Larek’s slow recovery has given his enemies a chance to strike back at him and his growing group of Volunteers. Not only has the Scission Interception Corps – an outdated organization that used to protect the Kingdom of Androthe before the introduction of Apertures fractured their power – taken it upon themselves to fight the growing influence of the Volunteers, but they have also enlisted the help of the local Factions to stop Larek and his friends from taking control of the region that they just freed from a Calamity. To top off his list of problems, the Gergasi in their Enclave are also moving to investigate this new threat to their own superiority. Fortunately for Larek, his recent fight against a powerful foe has led to some dramatic improvements to his personal development. Now, with new knowledge and new Skills, the Fusionist can take on all comers like never before, including a particular one that has been a thorn in his side for a while now. In short, it’s time take down the SIC. Of course, while killing every member of the Corps is certainly a possibility, doing so would only jeopardize the safety of the Kingdom, and the world, as a whole. Instead, he has to find a way to do something even more difficult. Larek must discover a way to interfuse the old SIC with his new Volunteer organization, combining them together into a cohesive whole.
