The Grave: An Oxrun Station Novel

The Grave: An Oxrun Station Novel Josh Miller has a talent for finding things. So far, the things people have asked him to find - antique tables, old movie posters - have been innocuous enough. And Andrea Montague, the daughter of a local writer, may be his most interesting find so far. But no one's asked Josh to find the missing fifth victim of an unexplained auto accident - the one who vanished from the scene of the crash without leaving a trail of blood, though he must have been badly hurt. No one's asked Josh to look for the other missing people - residents of Oxrun Station who mysteriously and inexplicably vanished on their birthdays. Someone very definitely doesn't want him to find the clearing full of century-old gravestones, the clearing that feels so evil. This time whatever Josh is hunting is hunting him, too...and it's hungry..

The Pet

The Pet Teenagers are being slaughtered by the Howler, a serial killer who stops in small towns just long enough to kill, just long enough to tear apart a family and a community. When he strikes in Ashford, the town reacts-setting limits on teens' activities, monitoring who goes where-and parents become paranoid. Seventeen-year-old Don Boyd doesn't need the grief. He's already under siege-he's got family trouble, girl trouble, trouble with his high school classes and trouble with the jocks who rule the school. Surely the Howler will kill someone else, somewhere else, and then Don can go back to trying to escape notice. But the Howler likes Ashford. And one frosty autumn night, the Howler chooses Don as his next victim. The attack is swift-but it doesn't go as planned. Suddenly the killer and the boy are surrounded by an unnatural mist, by green fire, by the sound of iron striking iron. And then the real horror begins.

In a Dark Dream

In a Dark Dream It's an ordinary summer. Until the dreams began. Cheryl Erskine awakens screaming every night; she whispers in her father's ear: "Something bad, Daddy." Glenn Erskine's worried about his daughter, but as police chief, he's got the whole town to worry about—especially with Jimmy Hale on the loose. The murderer had been too crazy to stand trial—he'd been institutionalized instead. Now he's "cured". And coming home. Dreams are hard to predict, and harder to control. Cheryl and her family are trapped ... in a dark dream.

Raven

Raven Maclaren's tiny motel and restaurant is an oasis in the frigid silence of a deep-winter blizzard. When the night begins, there are nine souls trapped behind the snowdrifts--an ex-cop, a lady bartender, a cook, a pair of star-crossed lovers, an old guy and the host of a talk-radio show and his two female companions. Before long, they will be eight. Then seven. Then six.

Night Songs

Night Songs Somewhere in the night they are singing songs of death... Colin Ross, twice thwarted in love, once abandoned, quit the mainland for Haven's End, a wounded soul on an idyllic island, seeking to heal his life. But instead of peace, he is hurled into chaos. Some dark and ancient hatred, some evil force, is unleashed, wreaking vengeance on the islanders, mangling the living and mutilating the dead. And, as the piercing songs rise to met the roaring wind, Colin Ross, against his will, is sucked into the raging storm.
