📼 I Don't Want To Level Up Series by Atucim Sanumar (.ePUB)

Hello. I grew up with video games and anime when I was a kid. From early childhood I was dreaming up all kinds of stories in my head, but never thought about writing. With too much time on my hands at the beginning of 2020, I decided to sit down and write a short story just for fun. Chapter after chapter and the short story developed into a bigger one, then evolved into a full novel.

#1 - A future CEO of the video games development company finds himself in a strange forest, surrounded by dangerous, bloodthirsty creatures, having no idea how he ended up in there. Rockin Starlin was a rising star in his company, starting from a mailman position and 'leveling up' all the way up to the future Vice President of the company. Before his last interview, to be promoted to the 99th level position within the company, Rockin Starlin was dragged out by his colleagues to a celebration party. Unfortunately for Rockin, the party ended with him having far too many drinks and waking up in who knows where, with no phone, no money and no idea how to leave the place. That's when his new adventure of 'leveling up' began. But will he be willing to go down the regular adventurer's path? He had his fair share of ‘level ups’ within his company only to lose everything after a single night’s party. What path will Rockin Starlin take this time?

#2 - “You’re only level three? Tch
Go grind your own experience, noob.” “I’m not interested in boosting low levels. Go kill some Carnabbits or something.” These and similar comments were the answers to Rockin’s question when he asked to join an adventuring party. Rockin was strong enough to kill a Lesser Trent by himself, but his level was too low for other adventurers to believe him. After all, Rockin wasn’t gaining levels as fast as everyone else did. Still, exploring the dungeon and fighting monsters by himself was making Rockin feel lonely. He started to think it’d be nice to have someone by his side. Savirei, the sly owner of the diner Rockin loved visiting from time to time suggested him buying a slave. After giving it some though, Rockin decided he had nothing to lose to go check what the Slave Market had to offer and that’s where he met Ranalaiya – a half beast panther woman. The slave trader was hard on the negotiations, but Rockin had a few tricks up his sleeve from his previous job and managed to agree on the price that he was able to pay, getting Ranalaiya as his new slave in the end. Little did he know that Ranalaiya wasn’t just another random slave, however. It didn’t make the owner of the Slave Market very happy when he learned Ranalaiya was sold for a much lower price due to the slave trader’s mistake. Unfortunately, the slave traders weren’t the only Rockin’s problem going forward. With Ranalaiya by his side, Rockin started attracting the attention of other people as well, with some of them coveting to get Ranalaiya for themselves. The only way to protect her was for Rockin to become stronger, and fortunately for him, he had a Unique Skill to help him do just that. What was about Ranalaiya that made her so valuable in the eyes of the slave traders? What kind of Slave Master Rockin would become now that he acquired the very first slave for himself? And will Rockin be able to become strong enough in time to protect Ranalaiya from other people? Read and find out.

#3 - “Clan what?” Was Rockin’s reaction when Savirei told him why her diner was so overfilled with patrons. As so it happened, the clans started recruiting for new members and Hirvant became extremely busy all of a sudden. Thanks to the clan recruitment starting soon, people were buying items and gear from the merchant shops left and right, also making it hard for Rockin to find a new shield for himself, so he went to attend an auction at the Auction House in hope of getting one there. The Auction House had a few special items to offer that night, with Sylfrin, a half-beast Frost Bat female slave being one of them. Finding out that the Frost Bat beastfolk could grow to become highly skilled spellcasters prompted Rockin to consider buying her. That’s when Rockin had to turn to his previous life financial knowledge, because the bidding war for Sylfrin was insane with majority of the men bidding for her simply because she was a drop dead gorgeous beauty. Nonetheless, with how cunning Rockin’s bidding was, he managed to outbid his competition, acquiring a new companion for himself in the end. In addition to Rockin acquiring a new female companion, he started making more friends too. As shocking, if not suspicious, as it was, one of them was Tarrion. The same Tarrion who wanted to steal Ranalaiya from Rockin not that long ago. Maybe Tarrion had a change of heart after Rockin let him live or maybe it was a plot devised by someone else, but the two of them started to get along, with Tarrion ending up inviting Rockin to a party to explore a Secret Area in the dungeon that Tarrion himself knew off. With the clan recruitment going on, Rockin acquiring a new, absolutely gorgeous, female companion, and Tarrion inviting him to explore the dungeon together, what adventures and possible dangers are awaiting Rockin down the road? Read this new book in the ‘I Don’t Want To Level Up’ series in order to find out.

#4 - “Ok, what do I do now?” Was the first question in Rockin’s mind after he established a clan of his own. The clan recruitment frenzy got under Rockin’s skin and he decided to register a clan of his own. That was just the beginning, however, because registering a clan and running a clan were two different things. Rockin took on the challenge, knowing he could make it work. Lilfira – a half dragonkin woman and her mother wondered into Savirei’s diner one day, looking for help. They had no money, no food, and nowhere to go, and so asked Savirei for help. Savirei being the sly wolf-woman that she was agreed to help her and even offered an opportunity to join the clan. Of course, Lilfira joining the clan would have to be approved by the clan’s leader first, Savirei acting very sweet when she introduced the two together. Rockin not knowing how to react, nor having a reason to refuse, agreed for Lilfira to join his clan and that’s when things got a little shaky. As it turned out, Lilfira and her mother were on the run, being chased by the red dragonkins, a very proud and unforgiving race. Whatever the grudge the red dragonkins had against Lilfira or her mother, Rockin and his clan members became their target just because he accepted Lilfira into his clan. What could’ve happened between Lilfira and her mother, and the red dragonkins that they were now pursuing them? Will Rockin be able to protect Lilfira and his clan members from the powerful red dragonkins? Read this new book in the ‘I Don’t Want To Level Up’ series and find out.
