đź“® The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound Series by Noret Flood (.ePUB)

I'm an amateur writer trying to cobble something together around a full time job. I'm particularly fascinated by LitRpg and Wuxia, and want to eventually have several stories to share with my fans.

#1 - Randidly Ghosthound felt lost and alone even before the System transformed the Earth. Before every person had to deal with the sudden presence of Levels, Skills, monsters, and the very real possibility of death... Due to unusual circumstances, Randidly starts in an isolated Dungeon far beyond his Level, forced to rely on the mysterious Traveler Shal in order to learn and survive with the dangerous new status quo for his world. But survive he does, only to leave the Dungeon and discover that while he experienced several hellish months in the Dungeon, only half a day passed on Earth. Randidly's capabilities are now more than enough to help build a small enclave of survivors, but that doesn't mean balancing his sense of responsibility against the plots of an unfriendly town will be easy. And although he doesn’t know it, he needs to prepare. Because the System has sent down a Tribulation, which waits in the shadows and monitors his every move...

#2 - The System has taken the Earth, but all is not lost. With the advantage of the mix-up of starting in the Dungeon, Randidly has been able to found a Village for survivors to gather. With their growing forces, they’ve begun to nurture other outposts of humanity, teaching them the hard-earned lessons he paid for in blood and sweat. Yet the tests thrown at them by the System are not yet done. The Village’s tribulation lurks in nearby Turtletown, fleeing a direct confrontation and wearing many faces. Hordes of monsters gather, preparing to strike when they least expect it. Most worryingly, unsavory characters begin to emerge from amongst the survivors, taking advantage of the chaos to benefit themselves. Amidst this storm, a message comes from Shal. Randidly's teacher needs his assistance to protect the legacy of his family. With the help of Lyra Silver, he hatches a daring plan to finally catch the slippery Tribulation, once and for all. Because even if it takes him to an alien world and requires him to trust the safety of the Village to other survivors, Randidly Ghosthound always pays his debts.

#3 - To repay his debt to Shal, Randidly Ghosthound fought his way through the preliminaries of the Under-25 Regional Tournament in Tellus. His victories have earned him a spot in Deardun, the seat of power in the Northern Domain. But in this new venue, there are storms brewing on the horizon. Now he’s not just fighting against the unaffiliated warriors, one injury or loss away from becoming a Forsaken. The affluent Styles that rule the Northern Domain have passed the championship between each other over the last five decades, and they aren’t willing to surrender it now. Yet an even larger shadow looms on the horizon. Representatives from the autocratic Central Domain have infiltrated the tournament, looking for clues about an old mystery: the true story of the Shal’s father, the original Spear Phantom. And the location of the third gift he received from the Witch of Karma, Lucretia.

#4 - After the chaos of Tellus—the world of the spear users—Randidly Ghosthound returns to Earth needing time to recover and heal. Randidly's Skills have grown at a rapid pace, keeping him far ahead of any individual on his home planet. Yet the System has continued its own methodical advance, meaning Randidly has no time to take the rest he needs. Zone 32 now hosts two Champions, individuals provided by the System who can teach unique Skills to their followers. In the one corner, wreathed in a green light, comes the Wild Rider. Opposite her stands the stark and intimidating Skeleton Knight. The previously isolated populations come together, clustering around these two figures. By the time word reaches Randidly that his friends Ace and Sydney yet live, a harsh truth is revealed: in the end, there can only be one Champion of Zone 32. And on the horizon, an even larger decision looms. In order to keep ahead of the curve and create a miracle, Randidly can only think of one possibility: to finally obtain a Class of his own. Not from a Village Spirit, but forged with his own hands.

#5 - Randidly Ghosthound built a Class with his own hands. But although he may now Level and rapidly earn rare Skills, the System isn't done with him yet. As the final hurdle to becoming accepted by the System, Randidly must lead a group of Zone 32's best into the Raid Dungeon and complete the assigned Quests. And what starts as a simple horde survival mission becomes complicated when the Creature begins meddling again with his Fate. Yet as it turns out, not all threats to humanity are alien ones. Because in other Zones, stand-out heroes like Randidly Ghosthound don't exist to curtail humanity's darker impulses. In the divided remnants of the country's capital, some powerful figures have taken a few sips of the power offered by the System and like the taste. And they'll experiment on the bodies of the poor and forgettable to find out how they can wield the power of monsters for themselves.

#6 - With Randidly Ghosthound’s help, humanity has withstood the first impact of the System. Old institutions are re-erected as the Zones settle into a new normalcy, characterized by the enthusiastic application of the scientific method to System principles and the stubborn return of pop culture and consumerism. Yet these familiar edifices of stability conceal an altogether new breed of monster. One that bears the face of a human but the beating heart of a horror. Randidly continues to investigate the mysterious Father Foster, the central figure of the rapidly expanding Unity Church. Although the religious organization speaks loudly about its many philanthropic pursuits, a closer inspection reveals a more sinister motivation. But just when Randidly thinks he has a handle on the situation, old debts come due: he must return to Tellus to assist his spear teacher Shal. What he finds there is a reignited war with an army of replaceable automatons, a weaponized and manipulated version of the Forsaken Hunger Tide. The defensive lines of the Spearman School are in a state of collapse, with the other Schools curiosity apathetic to the threat. From the front lines of the bloody conflict, Randidly can witness the real costs of dragging his feet in the face of the Calamities that the System throws against unsuspecting planets…

#7 - Randidly Ghosthound is not having a good week. In his chest, a mad woman's bitterness pushes his Soulskill closer to an incendiary implosion. Out in the wider world of Tellus, he was ambushed by a Wight Propagator and left in a holding chamber to await a miserable fate. He has been left in darkness, with an unknown fate hanging over him. But even drained of Mana and Stamina, Randidly has a few tricks up his sleeve. After planting the 'seed' of his escape plan, Randidly heads into his Soulskill, moving amongst the Earth Golems, the Spriggits, the Weavers, and the Monster People of his inner world. Soon he must come into conflict with Alta Bounty, who would burn the world to the ground to understand why Randidly, the host of their universe, allowed her family to die. Yet even after escaping, all that waits for Randidly Ghosthound is the war against the Wights. If he is to survive, and protect his friends, he will need to hold the defensive line against the endless horde of the enemy. Because the Spearman of ancient Tellus myth is alive and well— having assumed the mantle of First Propagator and twisted the Second Calamity to his own ends. And now the Spearman moves to bring his dream to light, annihilating all life on Tellus in the process.

#8 - Randidly Ghosthound threw down the gauntlet and his closest supporters have taken it up. Soon, the two sides will clash in the Challenge of Donnyton. As both make their preparations, the goals of the two are very different. Randidly wants to show how they cannot rest on their laurels, how under the System there will always be one more monster, one more Calamity, one more 'Creature' watching the development of their planet and plotting how to extract everything of value. He witnessed the brutality of the Second Calamity on Tellus, and does not want his own world to be so scarred. Yet on the other side of a the challenge, the people of Earth want to send a different message: Randidly Ghosthound, you do not need to carry this burden alone. Chasing his shadow, the people of Earth have grown strong. In the wake of the challenge, Randidly will head into a Dungeon to train. And there, he will discover clues of how ancient the struggle to escape the Calamities truly is. And he will also unearth a darkness that can wound even the System itself...

#9 - In the wake of Donnyton's Challenge, Randidly makes preparations for his planet’s future. All his cunning and crafting ingenuity flow into Kharon, the mechanical city. All his knowledge of metallurgy, Engraving, and the System will shape this grand project. And if his theory proves true, the result will be much more alchemy than mechanism. But while Randidly Ghosthound has plans, so does the Nexus. During his next Judgement, an extra consequence is applied; he is kidnapped from Earth and taken to the outer reaches of the Nexus proper. There he must fight against the endless horde of Nether Beasts that covet the resources of the Nexus. Yet the powers of the Nexus did not spring this trap intending for him to survive it. Not only is he conscripted, but his body is held ransom; to avoid execution, he must send images, conjured of Aether, out onto the battlefield in his place. Nether is the most dangerous substance Randidly Ghosthound has encountered. And now his aspect of the Grim Chimera must wade in it.

#10

#10 - Randidly Ghosthound has liberated his body and regained access to all of his Skills, with the help of Lady Iellaya. No longer will the officials of High Command be able to use threats to push him constantly into the worst of the fighting. Yet the war against the Nether Beasts rumbles forward, his emancipation beneath its notice. With access to all his facilities, Randidly can finally begin to understand the function of the dangerous Nether. As the situation escalates, he will need to use all of his advantages in order to channel this vast and destructive power through his body. Paths will open to him that have been closed since the earliest days of the Nexus. But while the Nether Hordes are the foes in front of him, a smiling Ileot Swacc begins to spin a web behind...
